It's a thing. We can all succumb to "paralysis by analysis."
The good and the bad of the ABBEYDALE offering is how many decisions can be involved in the process.
The good with options is it opens you up to be unique, to find exactly what you want, to fine-tune the details. The possibilities are what attract many to having clothing custom-made.
The bad with options is it can be overwhelming.
For the vast majority of guys, there are far too many decisions to make. So many fabrics, linings, and buttons. That's the hardware. Moving onto styling. What lapels style? Pocket style? Proportions?
The variations are endless.
For this reason, clients often experience decision anxiety or worse, the buyer's remorse.
(Waking up at 2:00 am - Did I pick the right lining!? )
Now for the irony in all of this.
People who lack choices seem to really want them. Moreover, when given too many options, things get exhaustive, and we want to quit.
So what's the sweet spot?
Well, I've been doing this a while, and when I can tell I need to take the lead, I do. I'll make recommendations, I'll talk you through the "whys" of what we're doing, and I will never leave you astray.
I also respect that this is your commission. You have free reign with most options on your jacket or the width of your pant bottom. If you've seen something, you like and wish to do something similar we'll accommodate.
Where success lies is in the collaboration.
So rest assured that this process doesn't have to be overwhelming.
It's quite easy when compared to what women have to go through.
Also, having options is what makes this fun, right?
Trust me - we got this.
All the best-
