Price vs Value
One of the most common questions I receive is centered around pricing.
Since there are plenty on this email who may be curious about how accessible our product is, this is for you.
Today we will discuss price vs. value.
Do we compete on price?
The short answer is no.
There are too many companies in a race to the bottom and it shows.
Our product, ABBEYDALE, is different.
We're designed to help improve your personal brand. We call it "creating presence" and take a consultative approach with every client.
The ROI on doing this is enormous and current clients will speak highly of this.
Now, not everyone sees the value in investing in great fitting, hand-made clothing. I get that. But if you do, ABBEYDALE is one of the better investments you can make.
Our custom suiting starts at $1,200 for our classic make. This is hand set, full canvas and includes every option possible. Not to mention it's made FOR YOU, which should be priority one.
FIT IS FIRST.
Compare this with an off the rack suit at the local department store that runs you $700. This garment will be glue fused, and made to fit a "standard size".
Some people are a perfect fit for off the rack, but most aren’t.
Regardless, a glue fused suit will last you 2-3 years tops. You can expect an ABBEYDALE garment to hang with you for 10-15+ years depending on how well you treat your fabric.
The value over time is where you really start to see savings.
On the cost side, the ABBEYDALE suit churns over at less than half the rate of non well-made ones.
This means if you invest a little more on the front end, you'll save in new transaction costs. This will have tremendous benefit in the long run.
The value of each ABBEYDALE suit will be 2-5 times more and a bad suit...well...that can actually hurt your image.
It’s hard to put a price on that.
So, if you think ABBEYDALE will help, even a little bit, the whole thing is peanuts.
