Personal Style is Personal Work

The longer you build something of your own, the more you understand this.

What you choose says something about you.

In your clothes.

In your work.

In the people you spend time with.

Over time, those choices become less about what looks good and more about what feels right. (which ironically, will also look the best)

We often think of these as matters of taste.

But they're really principles.

The man who gets dressed with intention is often the same man who approaches his work with intention.

He knows what belongs.

He knows what doesn't.

And he's not afraid to make an adjustment when something no longer fits.

That might mean changing a jacket.

Or a habit.

Or an idea.

You edit.

You adjust.

You leave behind what no longer fits.

And I don't just mean the fabric.

That's the interesting thing about personal style.

You don't find it all at once.

It develops with you.

The wardrobe is simply where that work becomes visible.

What you wear is personal.

How you choose is even more so.

Enjoy your Sunday.
